With a single brush stroke across a white canvas, I begin to pass on to you a story. You might think it began in a field nearby my home as the sun rose, or even 1200 miles away in Jackson, Wyoming...but it truly began thousands of years ago when the world was created. In every rock and mountain upon this earth, there is a history of seasons and the life growing around it. In every tree and plant there is a history of seasons, of years of life surrounding it. In every race there is a history of seasons, again with years of life building it. In every family there is a history of those that lived before and in each of us is the continuation of that story. Taking care not to be lost in the past but to capture moments in time on canvas from both yesterday and today is my story.

My art is a gift which comes through God. With this gift my paintings give to you part of life, a captured moment in time.

I have a degree in art from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. I served as head art director for the von Allmen Advertising Agency for eight years. I opened In Perspective Studio in 1982 and have had a working/teaching studio since that time; twenty-five plus years! I teach the arts, drawing, oil painting, watercolor, piano and guitar. Oil painting is my passion. Playing piano is a wind down and my guitar is my oldest and dearest friend next to my husband. .
